Mon fétiche
The cult of clothes and accessories that tell a story handed down for generations.
Born in Biella, in a creative family, surrounded by cats, in the woods of Piedmont, Italy.
Grew up in the cult of "Savoir Faire".
I have always made my toys and clothes with what I found in the atelier of my grandmother a seamstress, my uncle a carpenter, my father, a genius of creative recycling and handmade, my mother passionate about markets, fabrics and flowers.
I painted every surface, I created rag dolls, miniature houses, small theaters, ephemeral clothes that I sewed on myself.
I never stopped.
Everything for me was, and still is, a source of inspiration.
After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, I moved to Paris.
City in which I lived for ten wonderful years and in which I became mother of Roméo et Lucille!
A few years in Milan, and now I live again at the foot of the Mucrone Mountain!
I exhibit my works in art galleries, I animate creative ateliers, work as a stylist and consultant.
In 2021 I created “Confezioni Irene” my brand to present small limited series of upcycled accessories and objects.
Passionate about vintage and fascinated by the beauty of fabrics (Biella is the city of textiles) I have always collected clothes, accessories and objects that tell a story.
I believe in creative collaborations to bring life to new and exciting projects.
